Zurich Insurance Company Ltd v. Plurinational State of Bolivia
On 17 June 2020, Zurich Insurance Company Ltd & Zurich South America Invest AB commenced arbitration proceedings against the Plurinational State of Bolivia pursuant to Article 9 of the Agreement between the Swiss Confederation and the Republic of Bolivia on the Reciprocal Promotion and Protection of Investments signed on 6 November 1987, and entered into force on 17 May 1991.
El 17 de junio de 2020, Zurich Insurance Company Ltd & Zurich South America Invest AB iniciaron un arbitraje contra el Estado Plurinacional de Bolivia de conformidad con artículo 9 del Acuerdo entre la República de Bolivia y la Confederación Suiza concerniente a la Promoción y la Protección Recíproca de las Inversiones firmado el 6 de noviembre de 1987, y que entró en vigor el 17 de mayo de 1991.
